Chris Spielman
Chris Spielman joined 1460 The Fan in 2001 after an 11-season career in the NFL that ended in 1999 with the Browns. Chris was a two-time All American and three time All-Big Ten selection as a linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to his duties with The Fan, Chris is a color analyst for ESPN college football.
Bruce Hooley
Bruce joined The Fan in July of 2006 after 18 years as the Ohio State beat reporter for The Plain Dealer in Cleveland. Bruce hosted Spielman on Sports before joining the Big Show and was a panelist on Buckeye Roundtable during the 2004 Ohio State football season.
Before moving to Columbus in 1987, Bruce covered the Miami Dolphins in 1986 and the national champion Miami Hurricanes in 1987 for the Miami News. His assignments during his career have included the Olympics, World Series, six college football national championship games, four Rose Bowls, two Orange Bowls, two Sugar Bowls, three Fiesta Bowls, the NBA All Star Game, Super Bowl XXI and 18 NCAA Final Fours. Bruce has done freelance work for Inside Sports Magazine, The Sporting News, Golf Styles Ohio Magazine, College Sports XChange and ESPN.com. He currently writes the Big Ten Insider column for ESPN.com and is a regular on Buckeye Blitz on the Ohio News Network.
Bruce's wife, Sheri, is a former professional golfer. They have two daughters, Katie and Rachel.
Kirk Herbstreit
Since graduating from Ohio State, Kirk has become one of college football's most recognizable figures. In addition to his work for SportsRadio 1460 The Fan, Kirk is a co-analyst of ESPN's College GameDay, a position he has held since August 1996. In 1997, he was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the studio-analyst category.
A 1993 graduate of Ohio State, Kirk lettered four years as a quarterback for the Buckeyes. He was a captain during his senior season of 1992 and helped guide OSU to an 8-3-1 record. He was named the team's MVP and also its most motivational player.
